- The IEEE Press/Wiley recently released a new book by Dr. Stamatios Kartalopoulos entitled Security of Information and Communication Networks.

ECE student Brandon Reed was recognized as the Outstanding Senior in ECE, Accelerated B.S./M.S. Program for 2008-2009 at the OU Campus Awards Ceremony on April 3rd.
- Dr. Yeary has received the Teaching Scholars Initiative (TSI) "Teaching Scholar" award, on behalf of the College of Engineering. This award recognizes exemplary dedication to students, teaching and the scholarship of teaching.
